Greetings,
While I was elbows-deep in 16-gauge wire and 3DO controllers, boxing up my possessions in anticipation for my big move, I espied my burned copy of The Curse of Monkey Island lying amid a pile of faceless or otherwise neglected discs. I took a moment to peruse my collection of favorite video games, and realized that I have nothing in my possession that will amount to any monetary value come the day my children hock my memories to pay for rocket pack fuel. I seem to thoroughly revel in video games that were, by and large, woefully unpopular and vehemently ignored by society and our own shared nerd culture. To this end, and to the extent that creating a blog will ease my own conscious while freeing my physical form from any heavy lifting, I have created this site to discuss these historical heroes of our bygone pixelated, VGA, point-and-click, and FMV past, for without D we'd have no Silent Hill, and without Freddy Pharkus's frontier medicine we'd have no Trauma Center. These characters may have been cast aside by the majority, but they've found a permanent residence here in beautiful Kyrandia Valley Vista. I heartily welcome you to our facility; waashers and dryers are 'round back, and please sign in before using the pool or hot tubs.
